Leadership

Brother Adam is pictured with his wife Carrie and their three sons Ben, Charlie, and Jake. They returned to Mt. Pleasant, on November 2, 2025. This is Brother Adam's second stint as pastor of Mt Pleasant. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Theology, from Atlantic Coast Baptist College, and he is also working on his bachelor's from Grand Canyon University in preparation to pursue a Master of Divinity. Brother Adam is committed to expositional preaching and has a heart from missions and soulwinning. 

Curt has been walking with the Lord for over 45 years and is still growing.  Over those years, the Lord has graciously convicted Curt to serve as a deacon, teacher, church council member, worship leader, and an elder.  He has been married to love of his life, Sandy for 53 years and enjoys helping lead the music team at Mt. Pleasant.  As a repentant sinner, Curt praises God for the many blessings He has given him.

Wes and his wife, Connie, have been attending Mt. Pleasant since 1999.  Being at Mt. Pleasant has fulfilled their desire to worship and serve in a small community church with a definite old time 'church family' feeling.  Since attending Mt. Pleasant, Wes has served as a deacon and an elder, as well as teaching and has taught the adult Sunday School Study class for over 20 years.  He also greatly enjoys playing guitar and being a part of the Mt. Pleasant worship team.
